Ace - The highest-ranking card. May also be used as the lowest card in an A-2-3-4-5 straight or straight flush.
Ace high - A hand of mixed cards that contains one ace.
Ace kicker - A lone ace that is held (usually with a pair), when drawing replacement cards. Not a recom- mended strategy in video poker.
Aces up - Two pairs, with one of the pairs being aces.
Ante - In table poker, the chips put into the pot be- fore the initial deal.

Ante - In table poker, the chips put into the pot be- fore the initial deal.
Betting interval -In table poker, the period during which each player has the right to bet, raise, or drop out.
Bluff - In table poker, a bet on a hand that the player does not think is the best.
CANCEL button - A button on a video poker machine that resets all the hold buttons and allows the player to make new hold/discard choices.
CASH OUT button - A button on a video poker machine that converts credits to coins.
